Alright, so M'sia Lifesaving Nationals have come and gone.. Again, my medal tally is zero. But I'm contented I guess. Got dropped from the team due to some screw up. But I still got sneaked in to take part in one event. Generally, the trip was very fun. Cheering our guts out, making new friends... Whoo!! SP seems to be the most united Singapore team there! Cheered out guts out for teammates and cheering at the start and end of the meet.

Now, its back to studies and projects. Someone tell me why got so many projects running concurrently?? Worse still, the projects all affect my grades. I cannot let my grades slip further.. Slip somemore, say bye bye to uni..

Ok now off to procure materials for FYP... c ya!

My first encounter with an indecent proposal... No... I'm not the one that made the proposal... Rather, I was at the receiving end... Pretty freaky though...

Well, last thurs, I went to the toilet towards the end of training. There outside the guys toilet was a group of girls with 2 guys doing PT. When I walked back to the pool this was what the girls shouted(in chronological order, but I dunno who shouted):
1) OMG!! He has chest hair!!!
2) Who? Who??
3) Can we shave for you??

I just acted blur and walked away.. Man... I was freaked out... First time...

Well, now a days, life is just study, project and training. Very little time to relax. Nothing is interesting about project and study. Well, training is building up. Increasing pace to train for Malaysia competition and next year's nationals.

Talking about Malaysia Competition, its coming up this weekend. Feeling a bit of stress over it. This is my last chance to win something for SP. Hopefully next week, I would be posting come good news!

Well, this semester I guess won't be easy. This is a difficult semester with the toughest modules and plus there is project I have to do. On the brighter side, this means I would be getting out of poly soon. But its still 4+months to go. So near yet so far.

Lastly, I wanna wish all those taking O's all the very best for their papers.

Alrights. So my results kinda suck. Seriously man.. How am I ever going to get into uni? Hopefully I can ace my coming sem. The very final sem in poly. Can't wait to get over and done with poly.

Ok... so I'm supposed to fly today. However, it seems that the plane is down for its 50 hourly I think. For those not in the aviation line, aircrafts undergo servicing with regards to its flight hours. Unlike cars which is based on the mileage driven.

I'm wondering if I would be able to complete the conversion term in time. Expiry date for the conversion is 6 Jan 2010. By then I would need to complete 2 papers, at least 4 hours of instrument flying and a check with the Chief Instructor. That would mean much more thn 4 hours of flying. As of now, I only have .8hours!! And my passenger waiting list is increasing!!

Oh well... NS Pre-Enlistment Docu period start date falls on the same day as exams results day. Finished the former ard an hour ago. But the latter still not out yet!! Anxious yet worried about the results.

Usually the results will be released via e mail shortly after midnight, sms will be sent early morning and admin portal at the specific timings. But till now, email results still not out yet.

Guess what stunned me for a moment while I was doing my NS Pre-Enlistment Documentation.. I found this "BOYS BDE/GIRLS BDE" on the field for uniform group involvement. Took me a moment before I realized probably they use the same system for female regulars.

And my medical is booked on fri the 13!! Earliest slot available. Hopefully I don't get down PES-ed because of my ankle ligament op. Or I can stop hoping to be a RSAF pilot alr.

On the subject of NS Documentation. Had to choose shoes for flat arch, high arch or normal arch. I think I mentioned before that after 18 years, someone told me I am mildly flat footed. Therefore went to buy new sports shoes today. Intend to start running soon after I'm confident of my ankle strength. I bought a pair of New Balance shoes. I use to have this thinking that New Balance shoes are cheapo shoes. Turns out that they aren't exactly cheap.

Anyway, its almost 0230 already. I guess I would give up waiting and go sleep. Check the results later.

Alright.... Lifesaving competition season 2009 is over. Yet again, my medal tally is ZERO!!! For all of my events, I got no where near top 10!!

3 events for open water. Beach sprint relay, canoeing and taplin relay(surf leg). Beach Sprint relay barely out of finals. Canoeing, disaster... Capsized twice.. again left out of finals. Had I not capsized those 2 times, wasting precious time recovering my paddle, I would have gotten my place in the finals.. Managed to catch up with the pack after recovering though. But still didn't catch enough people to make it into the finals.

Taplin relay. Fierce fight. Fought my way through the mess, but somehow my team didn't get into the finals yet again.

However, overall, Sports Eagle, SP and Yio Chu Kang did pretty well. We(Sports Eagle) managed to clinch overall 3rd. Credits to coach, team A and women's team. Oh well, every one of us did our best...

Alright, my first competition for this year's season is up on sunday. Which is slightly less than 2 days away.

This time for a change, I won't be competing under Singapore Polytechnic Lifesavers. Why is that so? Its a long long story. I know some people are unhappy that I joined another team. Now I just hope I can do my best and win some medals.

Oh did I say I was discharged from physio? Yes thats right. I'm discharged.. No more physio sessions. Which means I'm almost fully recovered...

Alrights, thats all for now. Time to sleep! Lots of sleep is needed to prepare for the comp!

YESS!!!! Finally we came up with a project that satisfies our supervisor!!! At least close to 4hrs of meeting is not in vain... Could have used that time to catch up on my sleep debt though.. What we are going to do? For me to know, for you to find out... Muahahahaa....

Super tired this week... thinking if I shd go training on sunday. I don't care what the others think. I'm still part of SPLS and like what the club president said: "We are still friends". Oh wells, see how luh..

S-T-R-E-S-S!! What does that spell?? STRESS!!! Well, this week has been crazy.. Super hectic.. Finally, I'm happy that this hectic week is about to end!! YAY!! But not before a meeting with my FYP group and project supt. World War 3 ar I think...

I'm not really doing well with my lifesaving.. Apparently I was unable to make it for SPLS' trials therefore I joined coach's external team. Now some SPLS members know about it and aren't happy. Oh well..

I got my wish to compete in nationals BUUUUTTTT, I have a feeling I ma not gonna do well.. I have 1 event in still water; 50m manikin carry (I'm not good at that), beach relay, board paddling (aka canoeing) and maybe taplin relay for open water. Open water prospects looks quite alright. Still water I think I ma just gonna do my best and hope I'm not gonna be a laughing stock..

But I still havn't got the chance to represent SP in nationals!! Well, thinking of joining the swim team for that. But I've gotta train myself up first. As of now, I seriously C-M-I!!

I really need to sort out my time.. I've been unable to do revision for my modules. Hopefully next week won't be that hectic and I can get some revision in. Can't afford to screw up anything. If I screw up for any one of these 2 sems, I can kiss uni and scholarships goodbye!!

Had a great shock and kind of still in disbelief since yesterday. Apparently, one of my sec 3 & 4 classmates got married 4 days ago..

Well, I've decided.. I will not condemn nor condone it... What's done can't be undone.. Just hope that their marriage won't end up like what most "young marriages"/"Shotgun marriages" does... Not implying that theirs is shotgun, not sure yet. Although that's what I heard from people. Even if its so, who are we to judge.

Just hope that they know what they did is wrong, get through life well and most importantly, raise up Godly kids...
